My first time in France I wanted to do two things:
to try a french bread and to see a lavender field.
I’ve done both and much more!
From Nice I took a train (http://trainprovence.com/english/). Spectacular trip to villages and mountains of Provence.
Smell of lavender is something unbeliaveble and color, of course!
From far it looks like a river, purple river..
If you have a car you can find much better field, but I was by foot and I was super glad I could find one!
Don’t forget to take some tasty fruits, snacks and water with you and have an amazing picnic!
